We all have stories to tell. Maybe the story of the birth of your baby, your mother or father’s family history, your journey with a struggle, an idea you’ve had for years but have never been able to put it in to words. This two-day workshop is for the beginning writer. Day one will focus on practicing different writing techniques, reading sample pieces and practice providing feedback for improvement, and brainstorming exercises for story ideas Day two (3 weeks later) you’ll return to the group of writers with a piece or two that they have written to share and tweak and refine. Instructor feedback available between sessions.
