Man, it's been a long time coming.
We have had a lot happen in the days since we first planted those baby sunflower seeds. The weather has been difficult to say the least. However, nothing of beauty comes without it's challenges.
Even with the "100 year rains" coming every other day, those hardy little seeds thrived. It took a little longer than expected, but who's counting? Hindsight is 20/20 and now that they're showing their pretty little faces no one cares how long it took.
Sunflowers make everyone happy. (If you don't believe that, please feel free to comment below. These are pollen-less sunflowers, so allergies don't count.) Our hope is to have sunflowers for sale in the roadside stand from now until Jack Frost swoops in. Please feel free to stop by anytime and grab some stems ($3/stem, 6 stems for $15).
